Wine Tasting

Thanks to Robin and Doug for hosting a wine tasting of Amy Aiken's Napa Valley Meander Cellars wines. Amy is charming and knows her wine. The Sauvignon Blanc is just what I love in a white wine......character, fruity, luscious to the tongue.........Met good friends there.

Friends

Had a wonderful dinner with friends, Christie and Marc, at my home last night. We dined on Maria's baked chicken with black beans and rice...........accompanied by a bottle of red wine that Marc selected..........finished off with a lemon souffle' and "Patron xo Cafe".  Christie and Marc have so graciously allowed me to showcase some of my Valentine's Day greeting cards at their bird store "Wild Birds Unlimited". Please stop by their store.

 

Our Daily Walks

I  whisked by my January Birthday in Phoenix, Arizona.......loved the Camelback Inn.......and brunch with friends. Now back home with daily walks with Rudy, my Wheaten Terrier..........we walk thru the forrest......up and down mossy covered trails that run alongside of the cliff........going down to the water of Sequim Bay.......great view of Mt. Anderson in the Olympic Mtns.:.....full of fresh snow. Then back up to meditate at our secret spot......( Rudy meditates too )........then we finally reach the studio, where I paint my "Morning Aria's"............and so the day begins.

We have just sold several paintings and framed photographs to a dentist office in Port Townsend,WA. The pictures really liven up the office and allow the patients to look at something that is beautiful and calming. here are just three of the many we put up.

We are celebrating the Chinese New Year tonight at the Typhoon Thai Restaurant.......has terrific food. The "drunken noodles" are terrific I have just discovered a new magazine called the   "Art of Eating".....comes our quarterly.......report back about it next week.....after I have digested it.

Arizona Fun

Just returned from Gilbert Arizona, visiting with my friends ...celebrating my birthday and finishing Xmas ...James kept the Xmas decorations up for us to see ......Santas and decorated trees all thru the house.....about 60 of them. WOW what a house!!!
